ADAM VANNI
ABOUT ADAM VANNI:
It’s hard to believe that Jarr Kombucha was co-founded by a receptionist at a law firm who also worked part-time as a volunteer music therapist for children with developmental disablities, but then you hear that Adam also lived in a tree house deep in the Peruvian Amazon for a month, and then this all natural, earthy, home-brew brand all kind of makes sense.
Adam hailed from LA; there he witnessed the growth of the kombucha industry from it’s early days and became obsessed with it as an alternative to alcohol and soda. The company formed when some mates of his from London (and now business partners) dropped in to stay with him on their way back from Australia. Usually you’d imagine that a home-brewing start up would be created during a late night alcohol induced drinking session, but the only sounds here were clinking of Kombucha bottles.
Two months later, Adam was (knee deep) in a 2000 litre tank in London, brewing some of JARR’s very first batches.
